The 2008 Dom Pérignon continues to show very well
yet ethereal and even graceful
The wine shows light spice notes with distant touches of dark fruit
The 2010 Cote Rotie la Turque is a much more masculine and edgy wine that's going to reward cellaring
French oak foudres
Georges Roumier, Chambolle Musigny Cras Vintage:2006 The 2008 Dom Pérignon continues(from a 1. 75 ha parcel of vines averaging 35 to 40 years of age). An ultra fresh, cool, airy and admirably pure nose features crystal clear and transparent red pinot fruit and essence of stone. This is a bit firmer than the Combottes with even more evident minerality on the delicious, focused and beautifully well delineated flavors that terminate in a precise, long, linear and palate staining finish. Terrific and worth a special search to find though
