Rollin Pere et Fils, Pernand Ile Vergelesses Rouge Brut Zero The appealingly textured(two thirds of this is from 65 year old vines and the other third is from 10+ year old vines, aged in 25% new oak). As is usually the case, this is the most elegant red in the Rollin range with a refined nose of various red berries, in particular currant, along with pungent stone notes though interestingly in 2010 there is a hint of the sauvage that is not usually present. The cool and ultra pure middle weight flavors benefit from wonderfully fine
